Dear Esteemed Members of the Pakistan Endocrine Society (PES) and Healthcare Community,

Assalam-o-Alaikum,

It is with great honor that I assume the role of President of the Pakistan Endocrine Society (PES) for the term January 2024 to December 2025. I am thrilled to lead our dedicated community and thank you for your commitment to advancing endocrinology and public health in Pakistan. PES serves as the collective voice of Endocrine Specialists across Pakistan. PES is not only comprised of endocrinologists but also includes general physicians, research scholars, post-graduate trainees, nurses and educators in various membership categories.

PES actively contributes to the advancement of Endocrine service and healthcare in Pakistan. As a leading authority in Endocrinology, PES strives to create a collaborative and innovative environment that fosters excellence in continuing medical education of healthcare professionals, promoting research and public/patient awareness campaigns. Pakistan Diabetes Prevention Program (Pak-DPP) is our flagship project aiming to reduce the burden of Diabetes in Pakistan.

To achieve these goals, PES regularly organizes seminars, workshops, certificate courses {Diabetes Education for Every Physician (D.E.E.P) and thyroid disorders} and webinars at national level to disseminate knowledge on Endocrine Disorders.

PES is proud to be part of International Society of Endocrinology (ISE), South Asian Federation of Endocrine Societies (SAFES) and having a close collaboration with American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE). At the national level, we collaborate with many sister societies in areas of mutual interest.

Through these endeavors, PES is committed to advancing the field of Endocrinology, fostering professional collaboration and contribute to the well-being of individuals affected by endocrine disorders in Pakistan. Let us join hands, share knowledge, and overcome these challenges together.
